Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is Trippad free to use?

Yes — completely free. Create trips, plan days, and share links at no cost.

Do I need an account to start?

No. Start planning right away — your draft is saved in your browser. Create an account when you want your trips on every device; the draft moves over automatically.

What kinds of trips can I plan?

City breaks, hikes, and road trips are all first-class. If it has a destination — a city, a trail, a national park — you can plan it day by day.

I don't have travel dates yet — can I still plan?

Yes. Choose "Just planning" when you create a trip and set a number of days instead of dates. Day 1, Day 2… work exactly like dated days.

How does sharing work?

Turn on sharing and your trip gets one short link, like trippad.app/t/paris-france. Anyone can open the full plan and map without an account, and you can switch the link off anytime.

How does transit between activities work?

Add a transit leg between two stops — walking, driving, bus or train — with its travel time, so the day stays realistic. Tapping a stop opens directions in Google Maps.

Does Trippad work on my phone?

Yes — Trippad is a responsive web app, so it works in any mobile browser with nothing to install. A native app isn't available yet.
